Oud from Agarwood, also known as “liquid gold” in the world of perfumery, is the star of URBAN OUD Eau de Parfum. Derived from the resin of the Agar tree, it is one of the most precious perfume ingredients there is. Musky, sexy, rare, animalic, intoxicating and lustful – there are many words to describe this ancient, incomparable and complex essential oil. In a beautiful, raw composition with smoky Guaiac Wood, Sandalwood and balsamic woody resins from Labdanum and Benzoin, the perfume base sums up this sublime unisex masterblend.

URBAN OUD Eau de Parfum – a wood fragrance

The wood fragrance family is dominated by warm, dry and distinctively raw, smoky and earthy fragrances. Based on tree resin, bark, fresh pinecones, moss, leaves and earthy roots, the woody notes form a picturesque scene of raw nature and deep forests. Perfumes in the wood family are often powerful and awaken satisfying grounding, self-confidence, desire and attraction. While woods are often used in masculine scents, it also allures women when blended in a feminine composition with spices, flowers or fruity notes.

Spray the perfume on skin, hair or clothing. You can either choose to spray the perfume on the body's pulse points; elbow joints, wrists, back of the knees, and behind the ears, or you can spray a fan of perfume in the air and 'walk into the cloud', gently letting the fragrance fall on your skin. ...Or do as Coco Chanel said “spray your perfume where you want to be kissed.”

Ideally, perfume develops best on undisturbed skin, i.e. avoid rubbing wrists against each other and spray your perfume on bare skin before getting dressed. Wait 20-30 seconds to let the scent develop on your warm skin. A perfume is like a bouquet of flowers that needs to unfold, so if you have time, let the perfume rest on your bare skin for approx. 10 minutes before you get dressed to let it develop its full potential.
